He used the same occasion to lambast some District Education Officers for being lazy resulting in their failure to supervise schools in their areas of work in the country.

H.E Museveni noted that poor performance by a number of Universal Primary and Secondary Education-run schools largely stems on the laziness of DEOs to fully supervise schools.

“You find people complaining because of the laziness of public servants,” he said.

He also pledged to work on another neighbouring educational institution - Kasambya School adding that the NRM Governments plan is to ensure a secondary school per Sub-County throughout the country.

He, at this juncture, commended the headmaster for of Kirigwajjo Secondary School for the good job in that school, and reiterated the NRM governments stand against sectarianism based on religion, tribe or gender and encouraged religious leaders to stop torturing people basing on unprincipled religious conflicts.

The President thanked the people of the area for inviting him to celebrate the 38 years that the school had existed and also for having voted for him in the February 18th 2016 Presidential Elections.
