On Thursday evening, popular news anchor Hatmah Nalugwa Ssekaaya announced she will not be anchoring news anymore on the screens of your television.
She made the revelation through a social media post and emphasized she is quitting news anchoring after seventeen years.
"After 17 years of visiting you in your living rooms at 07:00 pm every day, I have made the decision to sign out from the newsroom. I am so grateful for the experiences and connections I have made along the way, but it's now time for a new chapter in my journey," she partly wrote.
It should be noted that Hatmah started her news anchoring career with NTV Uganda. She then quit to focus on personal business. In August 2019, she joined NBS TV where she has been working until this month.
It's reported that Hatmah Nalugwa Ssekaaya is again going back to her personal business of catering services.
