Forget the Shs400 million, musicians have been added more money by president Museveni. The money amounting to Shs1.5 billion was Saturday released to the musicians behind Museveni’s campaign song, ‘Tubonga Nawe’.

We’ve learnt that of the money released, it was Bebe Cool that received a lion’s share.

The ‘Love You Everyday’ hitmaker, who turns to be the architect of the project is said to have bagged almost half the money paid to them.

He received Shs520 million with Jose Chameleone following him with Shs130 million.

The others paid were; Radio & Weasel – Shs100 million, Catherine Kusasira – Shs100 million, Geoffrey Lutaya and Phina Mugerwa were paid Shs70 million each.

The money was paid for the services at Museveni’s rallies that have been ongoing for the last two months.

By the time of payment, they had performed at 130 rallies.
