Dancehall musician Fik Gaza was last week arrested in Saudi Arabia where he had gone for a performance.

It was reported he was arrested after failing to secure a work permit and other related papers.

However, following calls from different artists and organizations, the up-and-coming singer was released, and he is back in the country.

Gaza has attributed his release to Bobi Wine's efforts, coupled with UMA President Cindy and musician Ykee Benda.

"I want to thank people who worked hard to see my release from jail. I thank Bobi Wine, the People's President, Cindy, and Ykee Benda for all the efforts. Their calls paid off, and that's why I can stand here today," he partly said.

Fik Gaza, however, attacked Kenzo and his federation for going silent when he was arrested.
