Musician Ronald Mayinja held his concert this year in March, and many artists turned up to support him, except his longtime friend and colleague Geoffrey Lutaaya.
Mayinja has come to Lutaaya's defense, saying he is a busy man who is always in his constituency in Kyotera district.
He says Lutaaya was away from Kampala and had other events to perform at because it was Women's Day, and different shows took place in many areas.
"He is very busy, being a Member of Parliament for Kakuuto, he is always away from Kampala doing constituency duties. He may have also been at other shows because it was Women's Day, and various events were happening in different areas," Mayinja explained in an interview with a local television.
Ronald Mayinja emphasized, however, that there is no bad blood between the two and that they are still friends.
