On Monday, we reported about the clash of Ray G's and Omega 256's concerts. Both shows are set to take place on May 10th this year, with Ray G's happening in Kampala and Omega 256's in Ishaka.
Omega 256 has opened up about staging the show on the same day as Ray G's and explained she was never invited to the show happening at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
"I have performed at Ray G's concerts before, and freely so. There is no bad blood between him and me. However, I was not invited to the show, and the promoter booked me in Ishaka. I wouldn't hesitate because I know we both have fans, and supporters of Ugandan music are very many across the country," she partly said in an interview with a local television.
Omega 256 believes both musicians can stage successful shows because they have a wide fan base across the country.
