Many men cringe when they see the famous clip of Meg Ryan faking it in the classic dinner scene from When Harry Met Sally. They cannot help but wonder if their partner is faking it too. Many women like to moan while they are having sex. However, many struggle to reach orgasm through intercourse. They stress themselves out thinking that ‘it is taking too long’ or ‘it will never happen’ and so fake it to make their partner feel good.

Her respiratory rate is normal: If her expressions seem measured, then she is putting up a show. When a woman reaches climax, her respiratory rate, pulse rate and blood pressure go up and then slowly come down. She is likely to be close her eyes when she reaches the climax.

She reaches the peak too soon: Women take more than 20 minutes to climax. So if she is telling you that she is going to orgasm in 10 or 15 minutes, the odds are there that she is feeding you a lie. Remember you need to be in a position where you are stimulating her clitoris to make her reach the big ‘O’.

She is not flushing or sweating: If your partner is reaching orgasm, you will find sweat on her forehead or the back of her knees. You can see her face and chest flushing, so if you do not find her flushing, she is probably faking it.

She has no vaginal contractions: When a woman reaches climax, the uterus noticeably contracts, clenching quickly against your penis. If she reaches the climax, her vagina will contract 10 to 15 times. However, if you are wearing a condom, you may find it difficult to feel the contractions. If you put your fingers inside her, the contractions can become extremely noticeable.

Her body does not contract: The whole body contracts for a few seconds when a woman reaches orgasm. There could be minimal breast engorgement with the nipples becoming more prominent. If you do not notice these changes, be sure that she is faking it.

It’s not compulsory, but few women also ejaculate when they orgasm so that could be a visible sign.
