mujjabi ashiraf, professionally known by his stage name, Ashi jo is a Ugandan afro beat singer born in 2003

He started making music at a young age while still in primary school. Ashraf performed in a number of music competitions in primary and secondary schools. 

He won multiple prizes including bursaries. He later joined the church where he has been singing and training his vocals ever since. He made his debut song wankyaawa at badman records
