Kayiwa Geofrey AKA Jeff Kayiwa is a Ugandan singer/songwriter, born in 1996 to Mr & Mrs Kizito of
Kitosi-Kalungu District. He grew up with great enthusiasm for music even though he never got a
chance to express his inner self until a later age of 17 years. In 2013, he started writing his own songs
trying to imitate various local and international artistes he admired. Though he did not have any
instrument or knowledge of how to play them, he kept the faith and wrote as many songs as he
could hoping that one day, he will get a chance to perform or record them. In 2018, he downloaded a
mobile DAW and started testing his recording and beat making capabilities, using his phone as the
studio.His style embraces reggae, afro-soul, zouk and contemporary
